CR: 710 M: 740 W: 680 total: 2130 Ehh.... stupid essay weighed down my writing grade. ![]() QUOTE('College Board') The essay will be scored by trained high school and college teachers. Each reader will give the essay a score from 1 to 6 (6 is the highest score) based on the overall quality of the essay and your demonstration of writing competence. And you got a 7? ![]() |

And you got a 7? ![]() It's not, haha. It's just over 50%. It [probably] means one person gave me a 3/6 (50%) and the other guy gave me a 4/6 (67%). Which is, uh, pretty bad, especially since I come from a very academically competitive school/community. Wait, I'm confused. |

No way could you have gotten a 680 on the writing/essay portion if you got a 7. I got an 8 on my essay (well, I suck at writing anyways and I was half asleep :P) and I didn't even hit 600. ? How is that possible that you could get a 680 with a 7? A 6 would give you a 400 or something (since 6/12 = 400/800). That makes no sense. Damn, I wish I retook it - I think I would've done better since I would've been better prepared. |
