If you could move to any major city (assuming you don't already reside in one), would your choice be heavily influenced by mass transit?

YES. It's one of the main reasons why I went to NYC for school. I didn't get my license until after my freshman year of school, and I didn't really want to get it in the first place since I was going to be spending most of my time in New York and not at home (in suburban MD). DC has it's own mass transit system but its service pales in comparison to New York's. I didn't really have motivation to learn to drive, that is until my mom threatened that if I didn't get my license she wasn't going to drive me around.
