I used MAC eyeshadow in Vanilla for the satin cream colour.
Matte brown is pretty easy to get anywhere, the one I used was pretty neutral toned (i.e., not a lot of red in it). I might suggest MAC eyeshadow in Espresso for that. Yellow-gold, maybe Ricepaper by MAC? I suggested all MAC products because I'm pretty familiar with them, plus I know it'll be easy to find. Of course there are a lot of alternatives, so don't think those are the only ones you can use. I'm sorry I can't recommend the exact colours I used because they're impossible to find online or anywhere now (I tried!). I've never really experienced eyeshadow flaking so I'm not really sure what you're talking about - do you mean like, the powder goes everywhere? Maybe use an eyeshadow base on your lower lashline - either an actual eyeshadow base or some sort of cream eyeshadow, anything "sticky". I used the tip of a flat eyeshadow brush for the lower lashes, but an angle brush should work. Try dabbing the shadow on instead of sweeping it across. |
