i've decided it's time that i use the hundreds of eyeshadows i own, so i started experimenting with them tonight and found that it ended up looking MESSY, like i was unable to control the power and it just flew everywhere - i couldn't limit it to one spot. i always tap my brushes off, but still it didn't look nice and clean.

The simpliest way to do something like that is to choose three different shades of the same color. Use the medium shade over your eyelid, then brush the darker shade over the crease of your eyelid. Just sweep the brush over the crease and little bit above the crease, but don't go up to the brow bone. Then, use the lighter shade to highlight the browbone and you could always use a bit of the lighter shade on the inside of your eyes, like she did.
Sometimes, though, if you have a color that doesn't compliment your skin and eye color or you just have a crappy brand of eyeshadow, you won't get the results you want. |
