I've been best friends with this boy since I was about four, and now he says he wants to hangout in groups because he doesn't want people thinking the wrong idea. I also got the vibe that he thinks I want him. We don't really hangout as much as we used to, but we are the types that don't have to see each other in order to still be close. What should I do about this situation without ending our friendship?
Have you ever ended up dating a best friend of the opposite sex? |

I'm dating my best friend of the opposite sex...we've been friends for 6yrs & dating a yr & a half...I feel it's all based on maturity...If you make your feelings known then there won't be any problems, but if you happen to like him & he feels it's weird, then he will try to distance himself a little, but if you haven't told him you like him; he shouldn't push you away on account of what others might think. people are gonna formulate their own opinions regardless; as long as you two know the truth, nothing else matters...
