Okay, there's this class in photography and photoshop editing that I just joined today. The class is more like a club and a kick-back place, but I still learn some tips and hints for shooting photos.
The teacher's name is Robert, and he is sincere and straight to the point. He confused me with saying "There is a difference between taking a 'snapshot' and a 'photo'. For the field trips we usually take the Nikon Cameras & Digital Cams to go and shoot our photos. Sometimes we'll go to Starbucks. What dazzled me the most is how these photo tips like 'One Third Rule' and Converging Lines' are important. He's also specific about the angles and horizon lines.... Do you guys think this program is Ok? The schedule is "Every Tuesday of the week until December" from 5:00 PM - 7:50 PM The program is also free.. |

It sounds nice, and I wish my school would have something like that.
I think it's ok, but the way you've described it makes it sound pretty un-organized. Anyways, I hope you have fun :D |

Anyways, I hope you have fun :D ^ Well, they're going to give us portfolio's for us, and they are also going to make folders on their computers for our photo-shoots and our edited pictures in Photoshop.... The problem is, I think shooting pictures is just common sense, and my instructor Robert makes the whole lesson so descriptive in his point of view... Don't you guys think that everyone has their taste in photos rather than one person's point of view? |

Does anyone have tips on taking pictures of boats, animals, and people? Seeee, that's why it's a good thing that you're in this class. If the instructor doesn't explain things with your point of view in mind it shouldn't be that big of a deal. Most instructors don't. Plus, since it's free if you can take anything away from it it's worth it. |
