I am no fan of Sarah Palin, but I think comparing her situation to that of a woman who was desperate enough to shoot herself in the chest is going a little far.

Oh, I've actually watched the video now; it does get better. I was just reading the transcript before, and failed to make it all the way down the page. Yeah, I find her shit incredibly disturbing. I have read as many Obama conspiracy theories as I have negative articles on Palin/McCain, and I still don't think this shit holds up. Was it really necessary to drag his "associations" with Ayers back into the spotlight? Obviously the reason it wasn't "talked about" (and I assure you it was...try actually reading a news source, dear) was because it's not a particularly valid or substantiated concern. Ayers is a professor now, yeah? So if I were to take his class, or even to meet him, I would forever have "terrorist ties"? Bullshit.
