What happened over the few months of createblog?


I left to the point of the new DS people, so has there been any recent updates and events?

Did cB have gotten raided by purple-dotted gray rabbits or has it been epically tranquil since I left?

This place goes in cycles. The drama keeps things exciting, or it's just an annoyance for those that are over it. Nothing has changed. Give it a few months and more of the same bullshit will resurface, just with different people.

I'm one of the "it's just an annoyance" types. I guess it keeps things moving, posters posting but whatever.

I'm turning 33 in January so my time here on a regular basis is about up.

Damn. I remember when you told me that your 30th birthday had just passed. Time flies.

I'm on the same page as you; it's annoying. I care enough to stop frequenting the site when it gets out of hand, and I don't care in the sense that CB drama (or any other forum, although this has the most drama... it's probably the age group) will never cause me to lose sleep at night.

Time does fly indeed. My son turns 9 on Tuesday and I have no idea where the time went.

I have never completely understood the irrational and illogical need for me to be here. I have hardly anything in common with most, except that I have childlike tastes (comic books, cartoons, etc). Maybe I have an involuntary need to feel like I'm helping? Who really knows. I think that when I joined, I had hoped that more mature (older really) individuals would join. The blogging industry was growing beyond that of tweener glowie graphics. More and more individuals my age (and older) are getting MySpaces and blogs, but none are into "forums" and certainly not this one. The demographic simply doesn't exist here and when I've tried to lure people hre, they read one page of the Lounge and simply say "Rebecca, um, no." haha

The drama thing is ridiculous. I loathe it. In life, there is so much organic drama. Manufacturing drama is absolutely absurd.
