Xanga Anime Layouts, For God's sake, stop making them! Options

It's something that really grates me - the vast amount of anime layouts for Xanga on createblog is ridiculous! There are plenty of them now, in fact, more than plenty, so why are people still continuing to make them unless it's requested?

And if it is requested can't you post the codes to the person personally instead of hosting it on a website and blocking it up for everyone else?

What about the people (like myself) who have no interest in or even dislike anime? What about those who just want a normal layout and is sick of having to scroll through pages of Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts and God knows what else layouts (that all look the same, by the way) in order to find a normal one?

It's just really annoying. I know you can search by category, but I'm not always exactly sure of what I want, so I like to scroll through all of them.

I personally think that due to the sheer volume of the anime layouts, they shouldn't be posted anywhere else but under the "Anime" category. People who like Anime are smart enough to look there, right? And it won't be blocking up the all the damn pages for people like myself.

What's so "You've got to be kidding me" about it? Slightly inane use of words there, wasn't it?

This is the feedback forum for "improving the community", and a website that voluntarily provides layouts to people should cater for all kinds of people, not just Anime fans.

I say it's irritating - there are plenty of people who don't like anime, so why should they be subjected to it 24/7 when they're looking for a layout?

I have nothing against people who like anime, or the people that create those layouts, but I just think that there's too many of them to be displayed and rooted through under the "all layouts" thing.

Here's the thing. It's totally ok (duh) to be irritated by the overwhelming amount of anime layouts. However, my advice to anyone who has such a passionate distaste for thumbing through them to fish out a style you do like is to start creating your own xanga layouts. If enough people out there created non anime content there wouldn't be so many bombarding the layouts.

I know that you've pointed out being able to search through categories and how that is still an annoyance when you're not sure what you want. I go through that as well sometimes. When I take a step back though, I realize how much time and effort I have saved by having these resources made available to me. It would have taken much longer to design and code a layout than it does for me to browse past anime layouts to find something I like. Try to look at the positive. =)
