They definitely don't want Palin to get slaughtered by Biden in her debate next week. McCain just needs to admit that he is ill prepared to debate at this time. Obama has been saying all of the right things concerning this.

hmm, i think mccain would still be prepared. he's pretty good at debating-he just can't get heated on one topic (which he's done before) but that's what i'm hoping for! lol

if mccain doesn't show up, i think that is a seriously dumbass move. obama will get all that attention and time to himself if they end up doing that and giving him a chance to answer questions anyway.

exactly. there is no way mccain is going to let obama get all that media attention for himself! that would be ridiculous and kind of funny if obama was up there by himself. and it's JUST 90 MINUTES. i think he can take an hour and a half out of his time dealing with the bailout crisis and debate!

but i have been looking forward to tonight for a really long time, so he better show up.

and aw, the dave letterman thing made me feel bad for dave. i loved how they had the live feed to couric's interview. lol.
