I think that there is definite appeal from other races. I agree with Evan in the sense that most girls think that it is cool to date black guys. A lot of the women that I know, will only date black or Hispanic guys, because they have a certain swagger about them. There is a certain confidence that a man of color exudes. There is always that mystique of being able to try and control us, because we have been known to be uncontrollable and strong willed.
There are those who also won't date us, because we are characterized as being unfit fathers, lazy, and lacking in overall quality.

I also know a lot of women who wouldn't date a white guy, because they think that white men are too soft. White men are known, for the most part, to be fairly weak in comparison to their male counterparts, and to women, that is indeed a turnoff. One girl I spoke to said, "If I dated a white guy, I could get whatever I want, because they are just that gullible and have no backbone."
There are those who will date them, because they feel as though white men can make more money, and can provide more in terms of quantity and maybe to some extent quality, than a man of color can.

To bring my long winded response full circle, it goes both ways when it comes to choosing reasons for dating/not dating within a particular race. My personal preference is not a black girl. I mean if I see one that I like, then sure I will go for it, but I am not going out there to find me a sista, like the guy in that video is. It really just depends on what you are attracted to, and who you want to be with.
