That's nasty, What do you hate in designs? Options

What kind of things irritate you that people use in their designs? Here are some of mine:

1. Borders thicker than 1px
2. Right-aligned layouts
3. That font with the wings that I can't remember the name of
4. Those "celebutantes" and Disney folk

My list would probably go all the way to one hundred, but I thought I'd spare you.

People who go brush-happy. Brushes are great and all, but please don't rely on them for good design.

Complete disregard for composition of any type. Sort of correlated with being brush-happy. A lot of people try to emulate certain styles of design and end up making shit that looks slapped together; people just don't think about what they're designing for. I mean, I know art is supposed to tread new ground and break boundaries, but in something like web design, there are definitely some guidelines to follow.

Ugly fonts. Ghetto things. Sparkly gif's.

Over-use of flash, i.e., sites that take like 5 minutes to load. Sure, it's pretty, but completely useless. Again back to not thinking about the design.

Shitty minimalism. We've talked about this before - minimalism, simplicity - it works when it's done well. A lot of people just throw shit together and call it a day.

I could probably go on as well...but my brain hurts.
