i got the question, "what is being welded?" a lot in critique. so for anyone interested the object being welded is a reference to some of my other 3d work. although it's not very noticeable. i didn't know what else to make the person be welding.

^it's a combination. i had an initial idea in my head of what i wanted and the researched welding and meshed what i saw in pictures to fit what was in my head.

the hands in general bug me. there both too undefined and too defined. but i don't know, this also looks better in person because the camera made the lighting feel different or something. when you look at it in person it all seems much more dark. the contrast is a lot better.
