First of all, do you think you can tell people how old they are by their appearance? Or, at least, is there a general impression of how a person should look like when they're a certain age?
Sometimes people (especially young teenage girls) like to dress more maturely, but their behaviour may come off as their real age. Or there might be others who act 'not of their age' but wear clothes of their own age group. I have a friend who's 18 (Asian girl) who looks mature enough to pass off as 25, and sometimes wear clothes that resemble twenty-something women... but her behaviour automatically gives away her age. Not that I'm saying she's immature, but she's just acting like a normal 18-year-old. Do you think it's appropriate? Share your thoughts on this. |

Everyone thinks I'm older than I am. I'm 18 but everyone thinks I'm 20-23. It's not a bad thing b/c people never ask for my id. I have a friend that is 22 but she's short & kind of immature so people think she's like, 16. I think it's all in the personality/confidence. I'm usually pretty laid back and I don't take a lot of crap.
