It's drowning me, seriously. I didn't mind it so much about a few years ago, but now it seems like I'm bombarded with Robbert Pattinson photos everywhere I turn.

I'm so freaking sick of it. The Harry Potter phase was much cooler.

Eh, I don't think it's bad. However, I will admit that at times it reads more like fanfic than an actual published "novel." I think in some ways Stephanie Meyer got lucky. There was sort of a void in young adult fiction and young girls are always eager for a new mysterious and gorgeous hunk du jour.

For me, Twilight is like the high calorie beverage you know you shouldn't drink but sometimes have an odd craving for.

stephenie is no where near as good of a writer as rowling, but I admit I do like twilight better than HP. pinch.gif
IMO, I think a lot of people are obsessed with twilight because it seems like it could actually happen. it's set in the real world, and it's about love and such, so it automatically connects with teens.
