At the Top:
venti-anemoi - Each icon is very expressive and can stand by itself - as a set, it's really moving.


At the Bottom:
1. mystline - Your icons were too simple and only had cropping and fading.

2. moorepocket - In your second & third icons, too many effects were put in.

mystline. It seemed like you didn't do much editing to your icons. The images you used were good but we just expected more editing to be done to them. Thank you for participating though!


Round 3 Theme
For next week, the remaining contestants are to make an icon that has your favorite quote in it. There can be no images to represent your quote, only words and color. Once you are ready to submit your icon, please PM it to one of the judges. Do not post it in this topic, or you will be disqualified. Please keep in mind that once you send in your icon, you cannot send in another one replacing that so please be certain that's your submission when turning it in. All submissions are to be in by 11:59pm on Monday, September 15, 2008.

^ Thanks Blaqheartedstar (don't know what else to call you xD). I really like yours too, 28 Days is a great movie and your icons captured the feeling of the movie amazingly. I'm also impressed that you got those types of screen caps into an icon. What I mean is, there seem to be many caps in your icons that are shot from a-far and those can tend to be difficult when made into an icon.
venti-anemoi- O_O....you make me look like a 4 year old using PS. You make me nervous...that is all.

Pooonani - For something that was made last second, They turned out really well, and humorous

PS: I'm kind of suprised no one did The Dark Knight.

I was gonna do the dark knight i have soo many images for that movie. but wasn't sure who else was gonna pic it.
as for my icons it was a major pain to look for good pictures since the movie is pretty old. But i'm totally glad you like them.

Amanda I like what you did with the second icon, with the burn tool. Looks pretty cool. I would have commented on it earlier, but I was still kinda heated the judges put ryan at the bottom, and his icons were pretty amazing.

It was a texture but thanks.

everyone did a great job imo, so kudos to all of you. my two favs are definitely the 28 days later & 50 first days.
