so there is this girl whom I have had the longest crush on, since 9th grade and now we are 11th, but the thing is now she has a boyfriend and her boyfriend is one of my best friends so we all see each other often. the thing is, me and her r very much into music and like I find it very... Idk when we sing together, its like... better?.. so its kinda getting harder for me to improvise around my friends cause like i dont want any drama to happen ,so I just act like I dont like her, and many people believe i dont, its like I become bipolat in front of my best friend and it becomes harder for me to have like an actual conversation with both her and my friend, cause I feel like sh*t. is there any way, do you think that I could like relieve myself cause afterall they are the closest friends I have and Im happy for my best friend because they talk about how they want to get married and stuff and i dont want to ruin that for them, and I think it will be weird if I told her cause like then we would never be able to hang out, cause it would just be too awkward, its like every girl I like, who shut me down , we arent friends anymore, so I would rather be friends with her then being awkward with her, cause I hate awkwardness, so yea what should I do, should I just keep improvising and see what happens or take the risk of telling her?
... I actually kinda feel better about talking about this, I never told any of my friends this cause it would spread, but no one from CB goes to my school, and you guys are some very smart people so yea. I posted it :], but could you please be serious in this thread? :] |

I was in exactly the same position...
You could always wait it out. All relationship can go bad in a blink of an eye. My best friend and his girl went out for 3 years, everyone thought they were going to last forever, but they recently broke up. And if they do break up, you are suddenly in the driver's seat. I don't advise trying to break them up. Try not to think about it. I say, don't tell him you're felling for the girl as the others above said. It'll be akward, you're best friend will try to be protective of his girl and keep her away from you. It is human nature to be paranoid. If you really want to tell someone your feeling, best to tell the girl (if you think you have a decent chance and are willing to cross your friend). She then can decide. But from the way you told the story, I think the chance of success of this plan is between zero and none. Don't do anything rash and screw yourself over. |
