Okay so I've been raised in the world of PC with slight affair with Mac, and in my graphics class we're totally on the Mac. So we're desigin' logos for each other, and I came up with this totally neat idea on paper but I cannot translate it on the PS CS3 w/ a Mac, but could most likely do it just fine or close on my PC using Pain Shop.
My idea is a "crescent" of the sun, with triangular rays, but I can't find how you turn the square/ rectangle into anything else. I've looked through the tutorials, but I'm not finding what I'm looking for. If anyone could be of assistance I'd appreciate. |

Okay I think I'm getting somewhere. And I feel so embarassed because I swear I used to be a pro in PSP, but that was years ago on a PC.
Anyway thanks to you guys I figured out how to get the shape tool to form the eclipse, which I'm I'm going to use as a guide for my crescent, but I'd like it to have a border. See what I was doing was using two eclipse to make the crescent(one on top the other) then I wanted to erase the remains, but when I rasterize the layer so I can erase there is no border, it's just nothingness(because the filler color is white) |
