If you were a devoted Catholic or christian, would you care if you dated somebody that was a different religion than you?

If I were a devoted Christian, then of course I'm sure it would matter to me. But because I'm not, it doesn't matter to me. As long as they respect what I believe, (because I will regardless) and don't try to convert me.
 Religion is the last thing I'm worried about. The only thing that worries me is if I want to marry a devote Christian, I'd have to be brought into the church...sigh.
