I can't just be friends with him anymore Options

I told one of my very close guy friends I liked him a few weeks back.
We've been really close, but he said he didn't like me like that ANYMORE.
Lately we've been hanging out constantly, texting from when we wake up until we go to bed, and within the last couple days we've been cuddling, holding hands, and flirting way more in public.

I already told him I liked him once and got shot down, what should I do?
I don't want to bring it up AGAIN and make him feel bad or anything, but I like him so much and we already act like we're dating.
I want to be more than just friends with him. Help?

So you guys have been hanging out constantly and stuff since you got shot down? I think that's a little weird, perhaps he's formed feelings for you again, or he feels bad and is trying to make up for it by being really close to you.

Personally I would be kind of distant from him, because I've seen situations like this that go sour. I would confront him, and just say "hey, we've been really close recently and you told me a few weeks ago that you didn't like me anymore, and not I'm just getting mixed feelings and I would really appreciate it if you were honest with me and told me how you felt about me."
