A Jr. High School is making headlines about giving birth control to it's students (article is here)What is your stance on providing Jr. High students with condoms and birth control? Should it only be the parents responsibility?

Birth control should be available everywhere and someone shouldn't have to jump through hoops to protect themselves.
^I agree. This taboo on sex that America has is absolutely ridiculous and does more harm than good. People have sex. Young people have sex. They like having sex. Deal with it. Many schools don't teach sex-ed or teach abstinence-only "sex-ed". They want to leave it up to the parents to teach but 8/10 times, the parents don't say anything. The kids don't learn anything about birth control and have sex and get pregnant. The same system who didn't teach them how to protect themselves then tells them that they can't get an abortion and they have to raise the child themselves. |
