The other night I went to a show downtown, and between bands my friend and I got thirsty so we decided to walk down the street a bit to this coffee shop to get something to drink. I went there all the time last year, so I went to open the door and was completely stunned when some guy asked for my ID. Apparently over the summer the place had been bought out and turned into a bar. What the hell??? There's already 50,000 other bars around, that was the absolute last thing we needed. But anyway, I'm really pissed because the place used to be convenient, open late, and pleasantly isolated from the rest of the craziness that goes on down there.
what store/restaurant/etc closings have upset you? |

Haha, my dad was upset some paint selling place got closed down today.
For me, I've got to say the original Aritzia store at Metrotown because it was so convenient! Now they've turned that into a TNA (not as awesome) and moved Aritzia across the mall far farrrr away... but I guess it's alright. I'll come back when I think of a better one. |
