How do you feel about.., artists forgetting the words to their songs |

I love when artists do this, I just feel so connected. That, and you know that they're actually singing. Some people think it's unprofessional and don't like it. Discuss.

I don't mind it.
I do, however, mind when I pay to go to a show and the band lets the crowd sing the whole time. I didn't come to see 500 people I don't know singing your songs, I came to see you sing your songs. It's cool to do it every once in a while, but doing it in every song just seems lazy to me. |

It seems like at half the shows I went to last semester the artists forgot their lyrics. Colin Meloy especially, but considering how verbose The Decemberists are, it's hardly surprising. And god knows I understand, because I have suprisingly bad retention for lyrics. |
