Would you keep it real or would you suck up in order to be more successful in life. For instance a promotion for a better job, etc.

Keeping it real is HARD to maintain, if you have typical asian parents. sometimes, you are pressured to "suck it up" and live by the standard.

OP is referring to the latter, or in other words, would you KISS ASS to progress in life? personally, i can't find myself doing that. it's distasteful to pretend you are cool with someone when you actually aren't, but it also doesn't mean i'd go out of my way to be a bitch towards said person either. |
