Alright. So im really thinking about getting one of the two.
I have seen mixed reviews, prices, and photos of such. Though im still kind of iffy about it. I really want it because next summer my family is planning to go to japan as my Senior graduation trip (although it would be the summer before senior year) And i would LOVE to have either camera to snap some shots on not to mention i would love to snap pictures otherwise and such. Though i dont know which is the best of the two. Like i said ive seen mixed reviews of both I would love opinions! Also if anyone has any i would love to see some of the photo comparisons that they both take. Also where i can find cheaper-ish prices of such. Anyways i would love your opinions! |

Ha ha, not surprised at your mom's reaction. Photography is definitely not a cheap hobby. If you're on a tight budget, you better have the passion to make up for lost cash.
You can practice the artistic concepts of photography on pretty much any camera. No lie though, these more expensive cameras just give you more control and can make it easier to let you convey whatever it is you want to express. I got my Nikon D80 in a kit that included entry level 18-55mm and 55-200mm lenses and some bag. I don't even use the two lenses or the bag though. Anyway, that went for about $1,300. I got it from Costco before they changed their return policy though, so I'm basically borrowing the camera for as long as I want. Too bad Costco changed their return policy already. I heard (from Tori) that they definitely go for under $1,000 these days, though. |

Do you have any suggestions for the practicing? and geez that price literally made me cringe XD I know that im up for the potential loss of money. I also have 9-10 potential months to save up money if we decide to go on our trip |
