Expanding createBlog Options

Over the next few weeks/months, you will see me making topics to try to get new/vet members involved in cb. One of the ways that I want to do this, is through facebook! I want to get the group out there more, and hopefully I can get people to join, and then we can get things moving on that angle. Also, for those of you that have facebook poker, I want to do a poker tourney once a week. I know that a lot of my poker heads on here will love that lol! I'll announce the dates and times of the tourney, and I'll have a sign up sheet as well. Stay tuned to more activities! I'm always in cbc if you wanna talk or you can pm me as well if you would like to suggest things.

I just wanted to "refresh" Javonn's topic that he closed because I still think he was on point with his idea. Actually I wanted to bring it back the day of, but I guess I never got to it.

It was argued that basically we shouldn't be redirecting the fun outside of the cB website itself, but I still don't think it'd be completely useless to do so.

I mean, you can go out and play poker, or 360, or Gunbound, or what have you by yourself, but when you're playing with other cB members, you're essentially bonding with them, or at least interacting with them in some way. Now imagine if we could get a bunch of cB members out doing one of those things.

Also, setting up weekly tourneys for whatever, I think, adds interest to cB as well. I'd imagine that they would work just like any other contest on cB, and hopefully interest people to stop by the forums, just like cBNTM has. People like to talk about what happened, and the results. FB Poker has even done the same. It was started in the chat, played on Facebook, and eventually brought and discussed on the forums.

I'm kind of rambling now 'cause it's late and I'm getting tired. Anyway...



Obviously there's a lot more ways to go about this than Facebook. Let your imagination run wild. Post up your thoughts and suggestions, and then we'll get this ish poppin'.
