How Hip Hop has influenced other genres, o(-( Options

I always see messages of people who don't listen to hip hop but they're favorite artist is Justin Timberlake. But yet if you listen to all of his solo works , they're all hip hop beats. So if thats the case why is JT not considered at least R&B instead of Pop?


Not only this, but Rap inside the Hip Hop genre is the reason you're favorite artist has artistic freedom to say whatever he pleases. You should be thanking hip hop even if you don't like it. Or maybe you do like it but you're unaware of it. Especially if you turn your television set to America's Best Dance Crew.

Hip Hop has probably had the biggest influence on the American culture as well, more than you would like to believe.

I could elaborate more but I'm going to leave it at that.

Oh, and, yes KC I think someone, possibly even you have made a topic on this. I already knew. Of course, many genres of music have influenced other music. Why else are there so many different genres, beats, etc etc. If people didn't take little snippets from everywhere else, then all music would be a bore.

How is it just everyday sound? Do you not here a certain uniqueness that a hip hop beat has compared to its samples. And Hip Hop isn't just music, its much more than that.

Yeah I can understand why though. It would have been cool if artist gave credit to the artists they sampled but most just simply stole the beat. *cough* Timberland.
