![]() J.K. Rowling can pass the torch over to Stephenie Meyer now. Meyer's Breaking Dawn, the fourth book in her Twilight series sold 1.3 million copies on its first day of release, August 2nd. For those of you bad with math, that's A LOT of books! This past Friday night, thousands of bookstores and libraries hosted midnight parties across the country to help fuel these astounding figures. We mentioned previously that due to the overwhelming demand for the title, the publisher went back for a second printing of 500,000 copies prior to publication, to the current in-print figure of 3.7 million copies. The publisher has also confirmed the upcoming publication of The Twilight Saga: The Official Guide. |

I like The Harry Potter Movies, but the books are wayy long. So you can't take the time and effort to read the books? The movies are fun to watch, but the books are much better. LOL a friend of mine who reads Twilight told me that Bella & Edward get married and Bella gets pregnant like, right away with a mutant half vampire, half human baby. My friend also told me that since Bella is still human she's forced to drink blood for the sake of the baby's survival. Uhm, wow. Ok, anyways... ![]() berrypop90, please use spoiler tags! I edited them in for you this time, but you'll be warned if it happens again. fuack harry potter. twilight all the way. that book is the ish ive read every single one over and over. i only read one harry potter book buaha the 6th You'd probably like HP more if you read the series starting from Sorcerer's Stone. Goblet of Fire is better than Half-Blood Prince, IMO. It's the last really good book in the series; the quality of the writing in the last two doesn't really compare to that of the first four. |
