referencing tables, div layout Options

i'm trying to make a div layout and i want my top 4 to be displayed in a column on the left of my page. (if anyone knows a simple way to do that it would be awesome.) but i was thinking i'd probably have to move each image myself.

so does anyone know how i can reference each of the images in my top friends individually so i can either set their position with CSS or put them in a div?

i know i can't just use their img ID cos myspace doesnt like the # symbol.
