I think you guys seriously need to revert back to the old rule, where "spam" topics are never deleted. I don't even care if it's mass spam, maybe there's a legit topic you might have accidentally deleted in the whole mess. I even remember back when I was a mod, forums like The Lounge once being gloriously painted in red because of the remains of closed mass spam topics, because we had to close each one.

Same issue about deleting/closing threads was brought up here. Plus, Backstage I advised Javonn not to delete spam topics, just to close them.
