General discussion. Maybe we can turn this into an opinion overview of them or something funky.
What classes are you taking now? What do you like about them or dislike? How are the teachers? What classes do you want to take? Next year, I have lined up... SEM 1: Honors Orchestra AP English IV Calculus BC AP Physics B AP Microeconomics AP European History SEM 2: Honors Orchestra AP English IV Calculus BC AP Physics B "World of Ideas" AP European History Eschool: Government, BCIS Credit by Exam: Chinese I After I test out of Chinese I, I'll decide if I want to fit Chinese II into my schedule. If I don't take Chinese II, then I'll have six periods a day :) I'm probably most excited about Orch, World of Ideas, and APEH. Orch because they're creating an elite ensemble without a minimum number of people so everyone will actually be decent, World of Ideas because it's history/philosophy/literature/art (!!!!), and APEH because the teacher is a badass. I'm interminably excited for APENG IV because I'm a nerd and always love my english classes. ;x |

I'm not entirely sure what all of my subsidiary modules will be for the next year, nor can I remember what classes go with which semester, but I know that I will be taking the following. I study Politics and American Studies, btw.
American Thought and Culture 1: Settlement to World War 1 American Thought and Culture 2: 1917--Present Designing Political Research (UGH, prelude to my dissertation, which is actually optional, I believe, and I intend to opt for taking more classes to compensate, but I still have to take the preliminary module.) Approaches to Political Studies (Again, SNORE) Government and Politics of the USA. Plus, either Film and Television Culture of the USA, or The residency from Truman to Clinton, depending on which classes I get. |
