We started deleting actual ad spamming because we wanted it to actually stop. LJ support was getting bombed with it. I think you were here for that, though.
As far as regular spam, there's no rule that says it has to be closed rather than deleted; however, I'd say if it's in mass quantities (and the topic titles are inappropriate, as they were last night), it gets deleted. |
