I just watched the original version, with 200,000+ views and 500+ comments, and I was reading over it. And it is in fact NOT the maggot remedy. These are fly larvae maggots actually, and they live off dead AND living tissues. The reason why the maggots sunk in at the 13 second mark was because they found a vein and went back up for air. The boy just was dirty and it started out as a pimple, I'm guessing since he lives in a 3rd world country, a fly must have nested eggs on the pimple, and the infection spread. I just wondered why the parents of the boy didn't take him to the hospital sooner. Maggot remedy is when they only put about 10-20 maggots on you. Besides the wound would have been already clean out and they would have wrapped his head in bandages with the 10-20 maggots. This clearly isn't maggot remedy.
