I know someone who's never heard of Bob Marley.
My boyfriend saw Michael Jackson's Thriller video a month ago for the first time. He also has no idea who Phil Collins is. He's not familiar with Daft Punk yet he LOVES Electronic music. HUM?? Most of my entourage are people who love old school music, pop, acoustic and such. A little bit on the hippy side. So it's quite shocking for me. A friend of my has never heard of The Doors. >< What planet are they living on? >< |

this is common amongst the simple folk of my high school. i was friends (not anything special) with a girl that LOo0o0oves music but she didn't know who bob marley was. i didn't expect her to know all the lyrics of all his songs. but, most people at least have heard of his name.
i had art class with another girl who accidentally called "the doors" "the windows." she corrected herself afterwards. so, i let that one slide. ![]() |
