I see a shadow in the mirror

Something that should've never appeared

A weakness that I cannot beat

A demon that will not leave

I stand up and I see the same shadow in the mirror

Slipping through a meadow

Thorns from roses ripping my skin

The shadow running with me

Blood stained roses a sign of loves death

The roots rise up and grapple me

I cannot awaken from this terrible dream

The pain searing through each open wound

And the stains of blood on the Earth grow cold
