So, I work at a pretty "high end" retail store i guess. Recently I was tranferred to the juniors department and I hate it. The girls I work with, except for two of them, are lazy and have really 0% customer service skills nor work ethic. They could care less about their job and It shows because the department looks like shit. They will stand in a group and chat while the customers need to come up to them and "interrupt" their conversation to ask for a dressing room. Where I work, we need to lock and monitor the fitting rooms cause the theft is so high. Anyways, I cant even list off to you guys how many things these girls do wrong. They are just plain lazy, I think. They will also let the clothes from the fitting rooms pile up throughout the day and put them away at the VERY end of the night and not even really recover, hence the department looking like shit.

So, anyways, a few days ago, I was working with 2 of them and 2 trainees. While they were chatting at the register and I was putting the new Levis we had gotten in away, and putting the other stuff away we had gotten in that day. One of the girls looked at me and said, "Why are you working so hard???" And she just laughed at me with the other girls.

So, that night they had left a pile of jeans and some shirts from the fitting rooms there and the girl who came in at 6:00 got pissed at me and told me I should have put them away! The next morning, I came in and the stuff was still sitting there (she didnt put any of it away!) and the girl I worked with the day before blamed it on me saying I told her and all the other girls not to touch the levis, which I didnt and even if they had put them away, they wouldnt have put them away right.

So..... finally getting to my point, I talked to my manager and Im being transferred to another dept.
But do you guys agree with me that these girls are lazy?? I need your opinion because Im surrounded by these girls and its like 6 to 1 and Im questioning myself. Thanks for reading through this LONG thing geez. lol.

Lol prince, did you have to quote that entire wall of text?

Anyway, they're not only lazy, but bitchy.

No you're not blind. Recently getting into the workforce, I had no clue about anything when I first started at my job. The guy who trained me had no serious enforcement in training me so A. I looked like a complete dumbass and B. He would most likely blame it on me if something would just so happen to go wrong. I took this shit for months, since I was new I didnt want to come in and disrupt what seemed to be going well. So I was the shy kid that was timid for months and eventually it came down to me being called in the managers office because he blamed me for something not getting done (when in fact it was his job). So I told the manager the whole thing that had been going on, and told him (the manager) he was too intimidating and that I was tired of being some timid guy at work when in real life in extremely outgoing. I mean seriously the guy used to bully me in changing shifts with him so he could go get wasted. In the end, he quit because he was offered " a better job on break" and everyone was happy. The manager later told me that he was glad he left and if he had to choose he would have choosen me because he saw how hard I worked. Anyway, there is a difference between questioning yourself and standing up for what you know is right all along. Sorry for the long post.
