Hi I am trying to transfer one object of an image to another one. My usual way of doing it for example, I am using a pic of me at the park and trying to take me out then transfer me to another image. I usually use the magic wand tool, select me, then I click the quick mask mode, and use the paint brush to select the parts that haven't been selected.

Before I continue to use this process for the rest of my projects, does anyone use a simpler way to select specific images out of one image then transfer them to others?

I guess I go the complicated route and use the pen tool. Once my path is complete, then I right click and hit "Make Selection". I find that I get cleaner edges and everything using the pen tool versus the wands and lassos.

Yea that's what I started out with when I was in college. Until I discovered the magic wand. I felt at the time that the wand was simpler because I just click on the image, then I click on the quick edit mode and then use the paint brush to paint out more of the selection.

But now that I thought about it, the pen tool allows me a more precise selection. Takes a hell of a longer time, but it works lol.

Thanks for reminding me.
