I agree completely, when I visit other people's profiles I go to look at the information they've undoubtedly spent time putting together so other people can read it. I still think it's trash and it's not doing anything to help, it's just taking the problem, then accepting it and running with it. You're right, 1024x768 is hardly small. The way I tend to browse (also on a mac), my windows fill a little more than half of my 13" screen, so I could be viewing somewhere in between 800x600 and 1024x768. And I remember when that used to be large..
