Alright. I'm not as fortunate as everyone else so my mom and i have to catch the city bus alot...that is, if we can't carpool; and this particular day (today) we almost missed the bus.

So we're coming out of the media center and my mom sees the bus and she's like "cheyanne! run!" and i'm like "oh crap'. so i see this big ditch right in front of me and the bus stop across from it and i do the natrual thing: cut across.

So as i'm running my feet are getting wet and i'm like wtf. then i get it, the ditch is full of water. but i can't stop running. i just continue. by the time i get out of the ditch and on the bus i'm soaked to my hips and dripping. my mom looks me up and down and says "you didn"t" and i all i could say was "i did."

so, now that i'm done telling my little mishap...what about you all? Embarrasing moment that you don't mind sharing?

Something like that has happened to me before.. I was in middle school and I had to catch the bus even though I lived like five miles from the school, because my parents didn't want to drive me. xD I was running late and barely had time to get dressed, and the bus was outside. It had been raining, so when I ran out there, as soon as my feet hit the grass I slipped and fell in a huge puddle of mud. Everyone on the bus saw me, so it didn't help that my mom didn't make me ride the bus that morning. >.<

I have a tendency to do that, though. Maybe it's something with buses. On Valentine's Day my freshman year there was ice on the ground and I slipped in it upon getting off the bus at school. This guy I'd been sitting with who I really liked helped me up and then I got flowers from him that day, but I still had to call my mom because I'd scraped up my knee pretty badly and had stained/ripped a hole in the knee of my pants. She had to bring me another pair of pants and I pretty much hid in the band hall until she could get there.

..I'm not the most graceful person in the world, that's for sure. xD
