Running doesn't exactly "tone". Tonus is the ionic disbursement across the muscle membrane. It can be thought of as your muscles' readiness to do anaerobic work. Tone comes from heavy lifting. Definition comes from cardio and dieting, yes.
^ what do you do to tone out your abs and stomach area may i ask? i'm trying to tone out a bit for my tahoe camping trip in two weeks. Janda sit-ups and strict crunches. Also, if you go to a gym, full-contact twists. |
