If you compare Jay Chou's old stuff with the music he's been coming out with lately, you'll notice that he's lost the thing that distinguished himself from every other Taiwanese male artist. And pretty much all the songs on his last album sounded the same, maybe with the exception of 牛仔很忙. I mean, he still has a few GREAT songs in his albums, but I really miss the good old days when one album was filled with 10 great songs (like in Jay, Fantasy, Ye Hui Mei, and Common Jasmin Orange). But hey, maybe it's just me. |
