Art Is Amor is my site name not just my screen name. Since I was a little girl, I have been the biggest art geek I know. I loved it all. Painting sculpting dance, song, poetry, printing, graphics - EVERYTHING.
I always had a motto "Art Is Love" but it sounded too boring to be a site name. So I thought, okay, Im Latina, why the hell not put "Amor"? BAMMM! Art Is Amor was "born" in March 2003. I started off doing "dollz" at my old site. (http://artisamor.awardspace.com) Then i was on MySpace seeing all these sites n thought I could SOOOOOO do that so I decide to do graphics for people to actually use... How did you sites get your start?

Mine is TeeCup Designs. ( my old sn for cb was supimateecup ).
& I got the idea because when I was little I did ballet and my mom loved that i was a ballerina in training. And uh one of my first performances was to, "I'm A Little Tea Cup" so it came from there. I didn't want it to be Tea Cup, cuz for some reason I like to mispell my words or add letters like "thiis" so i changed it to Tee. & I figured I'd stick with the original "_______ Designs" kinda thing. My current sn is Shortcake and I was gunna change my name to Shortcake but I saw a lot of other sites with that name and none with TeeCup, so I'll keep TeeCup. |
