I was responding to this thread, and I thought about it.
It's been a rather complicated time lately. Nothing catastrophic, but there seems to be an overall tone of disappointment, some sadness, definitely stress, I guess the list could go on. I'm not a self pitying type, at all. If anything, I'm more of a fighter. I'm getting the motivation to do the things I need to do today, but I know that right now, it's because I have to, not because I want to. Does anyone else just go through periods of time when it just feels better to not do anything at all? Like you're just too mentally and emotionally exhausted to do anything but sit and either stare at the walls, the computer screen or a tv screen? When every little thing feels like this huge, monumental effort? |

No. Time doesn't wait for me. July 13, 2008 has finally arrived and will soon be gone forever. The day that “good enough” becomes good enough is the day I no longer matter. The world mutates us into drones and automatons who cannot feel. I'm thankful for the beast in my belly. When that fire goes out, life is over.
