I would imagine that they would be pretty similar, since the actions are similar...However I think you'd be more motivated to skip since there's something to actually hold and...yeah. I can't imagine just standing there and hopping.

I can't imagine just standing there and hopping. I think the OP is asking whether it's better to skip rope or jump rope, not only hop vs. skipping rope. |
