Tan lines on the booty, Hot or not? Options

As a girl, I like my bikini top tan lines... but frankly I hate the ones on my bottom that go diagonally across my butt. That's why I try to change them to thong tan lines at home, since I like the way those look better. I was wondering what guys thought of different tan lines. Which do you prefer, or none at all? Girls can answer too :)

I don't want to post a pic of a bikini tan line since I'm not sure it's PG-13. But I'm sure everyone knows what they look like..

I never understood girls that go tanning and don't do it naked.
I thought that was the whole point of the bed is privacy so you don't have tan lines.
