is my professor stupid? i'm taking a communications class intro to public speaking, and we have to do like 5 minute speeches almost everyday. so last week, i did my speech, and i got a 24/25 on my speech. the one point i lost was because he said i was too confident and cocky. wtf? he said i should be more humble. i mean is it my fault i'm not shy and humble like most of the students in the class. most of the students in my class are like shy and awkward when they do their speeches. f**ken bullshit man. i thought public speaking was about having confidence in speaking in front of a large group of people. this 1 point better not cost me an A- to a B+.

I'd see it as a challenge and just try to do better next time. One thing I've learned is never to get upset about other people's grades - worry about your own. If someone does better than you on something, maybe you should try to feel happy for them rather than thinking it might have been graded unfairly simply because someone got a better grade than you did. |
