My boyfriend's about to go to jail, I think.
I can't talk to anyone around here about it because that would risk someone telling cops more than they already know. I just need to talk to someone. It's not like I didn't know he'd go to jail at some point in our relationship, but dating someone that's incarcerated is hard. Not only does it take a toll on your relationship, it takes a toll on you. I really just want someone to talk to me about it. |

But what he did wasn't illegal, immoral, but not illegal.
The cops even told him that. They just wanted charges to throw at him to get the badge back. You act like I've never had my wallet stolen. He didn't steal it, though, he found it. If that guy wanted that money so bad he should have been careful with his wallet, he's lucky that it was Steven that found it because the video evidence would do him no good if the person on it was as identifiable as he is. But, like I said he dropped it, we found, finders keepers. It seems that that rule always applies until we find something, though, because a few months ago when I lost my wallet the cops told me you can't prove money is yours and no one has to turn in my wallet, and I shouldn't expect them to. If I really wanted that money I would have been more careful with my wallet. But, when it's a cops wallet it a federal f**king case, right? |
