So...my hair is really, really damaged from straightening it all the time & I was thinking of using one of those hot oil things that you buy from the store (like the Alberto VO5 ones), but I'm not sure if it'd really work.
Have any of you ever tried it? Or know any other good way to somehow un-damage my hair? PS: Sorry if this topic is supposed to go somewhere else ![]() |

Oil isn't really made to repair hair. You're better off saving your money and going the deep conditioning route instead. Pick up some good shampoos and conditions that help you hair keep moisture locked in. As far as the deep condition goes, make sure that it's a protein conditioner, because it will absorb into the hair cuticle and strength the hair. You should really use it on freshly washed hair that has been "blotted" with a towel. So it's not dripping wet.
