so there's this guy at my new school... he's a junior and i've had a crush on him since the beginning of sophomore year, but he didn't know who i was until 2nd semester and he knows how i feel. we'd usually just text eachother every now and then... and then he tells me that he likes me but not as much as this other girl that he's crushing on "worse than he's ever crushed on a girl" and he says that's the only thing holding him back...

so i know, that when he says that, i should just drop him. but i can't really do that... so any other options for me to stay in the game? lol

I think that you should be glad that he was honest with you, and wasn't pursuing something behind your back and letting you have feelings for him. That doesn't make him a jerk. In my opinion, if it's something that gets in the way of you two having a friendship than I would say move on. I've had feelings for friends, too, but in time they've passed and we're still friends.
