I am 15, and I feel like I am ready to have sex. It just feels comfortable now. About a year ago, I thought I would never have the need until marriage, but things have changed. I have thought about it carefully and frequently lately.

There is a boy I have been with for over two years, and I really like him. He has never pressured me into having sex, I feel completely ready, but nervous. I am not some trashy slut who will have sex with anyone, he is the only one i would feel comfortable with

The thing is, I want it, but parts of me don't want to take the risk of pregnancy. I refuse to take birth control because it made my friend gain weight and she used to be my size, and now her body isn't so hott lol.

I don't want to get pregnant, I have so much going for me. I am in a ballet company and I am an involved, well-rounded, top rank student. I don't want to throw that all away having a kid as a teenager. I just don't know what to do.

Condoms, duh.

If you didn't think of that, then you aren't ready and you're to young. I seriously don't think you should have sex, I mean if you believed you could wait until marriage then I think you should go for it. But if not, and you decide to go with it, then I highly advise talking to your boyfriend about it. Think of the risks and the things that could happen.

What would both of you do if you got pregnant?

Are you ready to take care of another life?

Do you even know how to take care of a baby?

Are you financially stable for a child?

see, its a lot to think about. And just think if you have a kid, you'll probably never go back to school. You always say you will, but you won't.
